Chiranjeevi’s son, star hero Ram Charan is getting engaged tomorrow with his longtime girlfriend Upasana. The actor is all excited about the engagement and he says he can’t believe that he is getting engaged in another 24 hours.

Ram Charan’s engagement ceremony is going to take place at Temple tree Farms, a resort near Appa circle, Hyderabad. This ceremony was actually planned at Domakonda fort in Nizamabad. But the venue is now shifted to the Temple Tree Farms, owned by Upasana’s grandfather C Pratap Reddy.

The audio of Super Star Mahesh Babu’s highly anticipated film Businessman will be launched on December 22 amidst huge fanfare in Hyderabad. 'Bejawada' in Censor trouble...?

Ram Gopal Varma produced 'Bejawada' Movie was slated for release on 2nd of December month. However, unexpectedly the film has now landed in trouble as the censor board isn’t willing to give clearance to the film. Censor Board panel feels that this film addressing specific communities which might hurt those people thus causing trouble to law and order.

It is believed that director Vivek Krishnahas canned some controversial scenes in this film which didn’t get the approval of censor board. They have recommended 20 major cuts in this film. Movie makers are not happy with it and Bezawada movie was sent to revision committee for further review. Let’s wait and see, How Bezawada will get out of this issue...?

Samantha was shocked to see the fake tweeter posting that she is playing the heroine in Ram Charan, Vinayak film. KajalAgarwal is doing this film and Samanthathought it is wise to lodge a complaint against the fake tweeter as this would disturb her relations with costars.

Samantha lodged a complaint and the police are hunting to trace out the fake tweeter. Almost all the celebrities are facing problems with such fakers and Samantha’s initiation should encourage others to come forward to put an end to the fake tweets.

Rajinikanth’s next in 3D, titled Kochadaiyaan

We have earlier reported that Rajinikanthhas put his film Rana on hold for now as doctors advised him not to strain his body. So Rana is postponed indefinitely. Meanwhile Rajinikanth will be doing a 3D film titled Kochadaiyaan in Tamil.

Performance capturing will be used for this film and it will be made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages. Script is provided by KS Ravi Kumar and it will be directed byRajinikanth’s younger daughterSoundarya.

Kochadaiyaan will be ready for release by August 2012. Recently motion capture technique was used for Ra.One film. Rajinikanth’s cameo in this film was done using the same technique. Impressed with the output in that film Rajini is confidently moving on to Kochadaiyaan.

Hindi producers are vying to buy the remake rights of Mani Rathnam’s classics. Recently Bharath Shah bought the remake rights of Thalapathy (Dalapathi) and now the latest news is Rohith Shetty bought the remake rights of Agni Nachathiram (Gharshana). Ajay Devgn is likely to play the hero in it.

Rohith Shetty and Ajay Devgn made a hundred crore film out of Suriya’s Singam in Hindi. Therefore they are trying to repeat the feat by remaking Mani’s Gharshana. Buzz has it that Mani’sSakhi and few other films to be remade in Hindi.

Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s Racha is riding on huge expectations among audience and trade circles. Sampath Nandi is the director of the film. Tamanna is playing leading lady. The film is being produced by Mega Super Good Films banner. The unit is currently shooting in China’s bamboo forest where the director is canning important action sequences for the film.

According to our sources, Racha is slated for February 17 release which happens to be the weekend of Sivarathri. Recently, the business for Nellore and Krishna districts is closed. We came to know that Sreenikethan Films has bagged the theatrical rights for Rs 1.5 cr which excludes publicity and prints. The Krishna district rights were sold to Bellary Sai through 14 Reels Entertainments for Rs 4 crore. Distributors feel that the film recovers the money easily and even collects more than expected. The only thing that is bothering right now is the season.

                        Solo Review – Nara Rohith Movie

Solo Review – Solo Movie Review, Rating, Telugu Movie: Nara Rohith, who made his debut with Banam is back with Solo. This time he tried to prove himself as an all rounder by showing his skills. Did Parasuram proved successful in making Rohith a commercial hero? Read on…

Story:

Gowtham (Rohith) is an orphan, who dreams of having his own family. Gowtham feels that if he marries a girl from a big family then he could have all the relatives. So he tries his best to find one such girl. He falls for Vaishnavi (Nisha) as she has everything that he is looking for. She is the daughter of Raghupathi (Prakash Raj), who wants his daughter to marry a man from a joint family. He rejects Gowtham as he is an orphan. The love pair got separated. How do they convince Raghupathi is the rest of the story.

Analysis:

Solo film has a simple story. Director Parashuram penned down a solid screenplay to narrate this simple point like his guru Puri Jagannadh. The film’s flow until interval point is smooth. The takeoff is good in the second half too. But the film’s color changes all of a sudden.

Until interval it is an entertaining story with ample fun. When the hero’s character takes a U turn, the mood of the film too has changed big time. Although it is understandable, few may not like the sudden shift. Director should have tried to include some funny characters in the marriage atmosphere without changing the mood of the hero. So that it would have pleased the audiences that look for comedy throughout the film.

On a whole, the mood of the film is alright. This story has to be dealt this way. There is nothing wrong in the approach of the director. Instead of being vocal all the time, he should have tried to show the pain of the protagonist visually. Saying so, we should admit that the dialogues are pretty good.

Solo is being promoted as an entertaining love story. But it is actually an emotional love story blended with some amount of comedy. The makers of the film should immediately focus on the publicity and packaging!

Performances:

Rohith is rigid. He couldn’t emote well. His diction and screen presence is good. But he should concentrate on his expressions to be in business. Nisha Agarwal’s performance is not convincing. She should also work on her expressions. Prakash Raj is perfect as heroine’s father. He steals the show. Jayasudha is fine. Srinivasa Reddy is entertaining. Ali is alright. Sayaji Shinde  and others did their bit.

Technicalities:

Mani Sharma music is average, be it for songs or background score. Cinematography is neat and production values are good. Director Parasuram handled the movie well. This film could have easily slipped into pathetic mood, but he constantly lifted it up with sharp dialogues and kept the spirits flowing. This is undoubtedly his best works till date.

Final Word: Solo film’s first half will appeal to people who look for fun. Second half of the film is aimed at the families. The producer should immediately focus on attracting them to the theatres. As of now openings are not so great and it should pick up with positive feedback. Solo also has a threat from few biggies to hold its ground at the box office.

                  Balakrishna Adhinayakudu shooting update

Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna’s upcoming political drama Adhinayakudu is slated for January 11 or 12 release. The producer has confirmed that the film is in pongal race without any second thought. Meanwhile, the makers of the film are planning to shoot a song on Balakrishnaand Lakshmi Rai from tomorrow onwards.Saloni is playing second fiddle in this film. Music of the film is provided by Kalyani Malik. ML Kumar Chowdary is the producer and Paruchuri Murali is the director.

According to the producer, the film has all the elements and the director handled the subject well. The three powerful roles donned by Balayya are said to be the highlight of the film. The old get-up of Balayya is excellent and reminds us the get-up of late NTR. Mahesh Babu’s Businessman movie audio will be launched on December 23. This film is going to release in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam on January 11. Therefore the makers are planning to release the audio in three languages on 23rd.

Thaman is the music director for this film. His music for Dookudu clicked well and fans are expecting Businessman audio to be even better as Puri Jagannadh extracts good output from his music directors.

VISHNUVARDHAN’S PANJAA REMAKE WITH AJITH?

                                                     

Vishnuvardhan’s Telugu film Panjaa is ready to rock the theatres soon and expectations are very high on this project as it stars Power Star Pawan Kalyan in the lead role. There is a talk that Panjaa may be dubbed in Tamil but sources say that Vishnuvardhan is toying with the idea of remaking the film in Tamil. He is trying to rope in Ajith to play the lead role in the remake to make up for the loss of Billa 2 which he was supposed to direct but eventually shifted hands to Chakri Toleti, sources say.

During his visit he told about his future projects and the release date of his next venture Eega. He said that he is going to make three films next year with Victory Venkatesh, Rana Daggubati and Gopi Chand in the lead roles. Suresh Babu also confirmed that his film Eega under the direction of Rajamouli will release on March 31. He is the co-producer of the film. So, what is his character’s name in Panjaa? He played the character of ‘Jai’ in it. You can hear Brahmanandam calling him as Jai in the song Paparayudu. Even the producer of the film confirmed the same. Jai is a simple name and doesn’t have that special touch of Pawan Kalyan to it.

Vishnu Vardhan is the director of this film and Yuvan Shankar Raja is the music composer. The songs from this film are rocking the charts at the moment. Panjaa title song and Ela Ela are topping the lists. 

Ram Charan opts for off season?

Ram Charan’s Racha was supposed to be ready for Pongal. But the delay in the production work didn’t ensure Pongal release. Therefore, the makers of this film are trying to release it in February, i.e. for Shiva Rathri. Charan fans are not happy with the choice of release date.

February is considered as an off season as students and family audience generally don’t visit theatres due to exams period. Mass audiences are the only hope in that season. So, fans hope that Racha release will be postponed to summer season to make sure that no one misses it.

Racha is being directed by Sampath Nandi and produced on Mega Super Good Films banner. Currently the film’s shoot is going on in China. They are shooting a fight scene in Bamboo forest.

There was a rumor that Shruti Haasan was replaced by Ileana in Pawan Kalyan filmGabbar Singh. But the director of the film,Harish Shankar, has condemned all such rumors and stated that Shruti is doing the film and there won’t be any replacements.

Shruti Haasan will join the shoot from December. She is excited about doingGabbar Singh opposite Pawan Kalyan.Shruti Haasan’s Oh My Friend broke even for the producer and is branded as a hit. She missed out on NTR Jr Dammu due to call sheet issues. But she is making sure that she won’t miss Gabbar Singh at any cost.

Shruti Haasan is currently very busy in Tamil and Telugu film industries. She wants to strike a balance between the two languages.
