Snehitudu, the Telugu dubbed version of Nanban, Tamil remake of 3 Idiots has opened reasonably well in Andhra Pradesh. Shankar’s brand name has brought good opening to the film despite the lack of hero value.3 Idiots was a good hit in Andhra Pradesh as well. But that didn’t show any effect on Snehitudu openings. Expectedly the opening in small centers is on the lower side. Snehitudu is getting nice feedback from the audiences who have not seen the original.
It will have good run for two weeks for sure as there is no strong competition from the straight movies. Pongal movies business also has slowed down and that should work in Snehitudu’s favor.
