3 Idiots, the biggest hit in Indian cinema history is remade in Tamil and Telugu by Gemini Film Circuit. Tamil version is titled as 'Nanban' and title for the telugu version of this movie is tentatively confirmed as "Snehitudu". South India Star Director Shankar is remaking it with Vijay, Sriram and Jeeva in the lead roles. It is the first ever remake film from Shankar. This film has completed its shooting and post production works are going on in a rapid speed. Audio of the movie is expected to release in first week of January.
Ace producer Dil Raju has got the theatrical rights for the Telugu version of this movie. Harris Jayaraj is scoring music for the film. Ileana is playing the female lead. Satya raj, Lawrence and SJ surya are playing lead roles. The movie is slated for release on January 26.
